In November of 2019 there was an article published by CBS News in response to a report by Blue Cross Blue Shield on the Health of Millennials, entitled Millennials' Declining health could sicken US economy. 

We’re suffering from conditions including hypertension, high cholesterol, depression at higher rates than our Gen Xers did at the same point in their lives, but it’s not enough to know this information or even in my case, be passionate about this ... we need a plan. 

At the end of their executive summary, they put together a call to action to policy makers and the health care community at large to address the declining health among younger Americans before the more severe consequences mentioned in their analysis that they reported on became a reality. 

That’s my purpose for Millennial Health.
